Subject: Pakistan army is better equipped than the indian army.
G3A3 7.62mm    10/3/2005 8:06:25 PM
1) pakistan uses better firarms than the indians for example the G3 is far better weapon than the INAS rifle in Rate of fire in Range and the knock out punch of the G3 7.62mm round is more powerful than the indian INAS 5.56mm round. 2) the Al khalid tank is far more superior than anthing the indians have the indians only have t-55 and t-72 tanks these tanks are know obsolte the Al Khalid main 125mm gun can take out those indian tanks from ranges up to 3 miles away while the indian ,t72,t-55 only have a range of only 1 mile so the Al khlaid can take out the indian tanks before the indian tanks know that the alkhalid is even there until the indian tanks get blown up also the al khalid has nightvision and thermal equipment and also an auto targeting scope meaning it will not lose the enemy tank. The Al Khalid is as good as the M1 Abrams and the Britsh Challanger and the Alkhalid has a speed of 45 miles per hour.

JTR~~    childish statements   9/6/2011 12:28:20 PM

a childish statement deserves a childish response.

you must be utterly deluding yourself if you think that the AL Khalid tank is
even a third as good as either the Abrams or the Challenger. The Chally would
eat entire columns of the Khalid for breakfast and think nothing of it. There
is no contest between them.

All these pro Pakistan posts are somewhat infuriating. in many ways i wish India and
Pakistan could just have it out right now, then India could win the war and embarrass
the Pakistani fan boys and we can all go home with a sense of satisfaction. The
Pakistani military is a third rate force. The Indian military would waltz over
it, and yet some go so far as to even think that the armed forces of Pakistan
would be a challenging prospect for a western nation. Honestly it defies belief;
all you do is embarrass yourselves with such child like comments, wake up to
reality for all our sakes.

As for the rest of the post, there were some major flaws in
that as well. Haven’t you heard of the Bhishma?? AKA the T 90. Now to say that
a tank derived from the T 72 which in turn loosely tracks its own development
back to the T 55 is superior to another tank in combat is quite a statement.

I do hope you offer some form of reply to this because I shall
enjoy picking apart your feeble declarations in regards to the so called merits
of the Al Khalid in comparison to the Chally or indeed the Abrams with great
relish and in far greater detail. I await the challenge.

The trouble with looking at history and assuming it impacts the future also assumes the same conditions apply.  India is a dynamic society with a lot of very good educational centers that among other factors helps to create a growing economy.

Pakistan is not this fortunate and has varied internal problems.  The disparity between the two nations in terms of economic power is increasing.  India's main strategic problem is China.  Pakistan's is internal.

Pakistan has a proud military history.  The notion that Pakistan "always repelled Indian attacks" rather overstates the case, however, given East Pakistan doesn't exist anymore and during that little war Pakistan began they got nowhere in India and India made some limited attacks in the west that resulted in captured territory they gave back the next year.  The naval war didn't go Pakistan's way either.  71 was a loss and 65 a stalemate.  It's part of a larger trend.
