The US has authorized the $186 million dollar deal to upgrade and maintain the seven P-3C patrol aircraft operated by the Pak Navy.

P-3C are effective maritime patrol aircraft and will help improve the naval capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.  I've also heard that the Navy is to get some new aircraft and helicopters as well.  It seems like the Pakistan Navy is finally undergoing some noticeable expansions and attention which was long over do.
