Subject: Doesn't the UK make money off of the Royal Family?

As I recall, the income from some of the Royal Family's lands is donated to the government and that income is slightly larger than the amount of money spent on the Royal Family. Can't remember where I read that though. And though I may be an American, I also happen to be a monarchist (and not just for the UK).
