Changes in FRES priorities

| Reports in today's media suggest that FRES has avoided being cancelled as part of the MOD's response to its budgetary pressures.
However, there will be a change in priorities with the 'Scout' version being prioritised over the 'Utility' variant (bad news for GD).
Does anyone know what the plans are for the Scout variant? Presumably it will act as a replacement for Scimitar and other recon focused vehicles.
Will it definitely be tracked? Is the plan to buy 'off the shelf' and upgrade or develop something more bespoke?
