I thought Quantum opened in the States on teh 14th, where you see it at?  Care to elaborate on what sucked?  Plot too outlandish?  Poor acting? What exactly wasnt up to par for a 007 movie?

This is the first "sequel" movie for Bond so its a bit different.  No Q or Moneypenny was a bit odd.

It seems they want the Bond series to be more like the Bourne movies.  The Bond movies for a while there were getting to be Kiddie movies they were so infantile but actually I kind of like they have it now.  I thought Casino Royale was particularly good.  The quantum movie although not as good as Casino is still better than some of the stuff they had in the 70's and 80's.
