No, I live in England.  I have only lived in Namibia for a few months - but I well recommend Swakopmund.

Dunno about the Skeleton coast, I don't think there is any malaria around Walvis Bay, Swakop, up to the Ugab river and Uis... I didn't bother taking malaria medication.  Obviously though where there is stagnant water there is a risk.
