Subject: Maneuver Warrior - Next Game in the Warfighter Series
    6/1/2006 11:47:04 PM

Columbus, OH, 30 MAY 2006 - "Maneuver Warrior," the latest game in BayonetGames'
Warfighter series, is set for release at Origins 2006. Featuring cover art from
renowned military artist Jody Harmon, Maneuver Warrior breaks new ground for
BayonetGames' Warfighter series.

Building on the second edition base rules, Maneuver Warrior includes new rules for
reconnaissance units, engineers, and battlefield leaders. Historical and near-future
hypothetical battle scenarios, ranging from Chechnya to Iraq to Lebanon are included. The
tools to create customized scenarios, one of the hallmarks of the Warfighter series, are
present in Maneuver Warrior as well.

The mix of forces is the most ambitious yet for the Warfighter series. Americans,
Australians, Israelis, Syrians, Egyptians, Russians, and local irregular partisans are
all on the table. The Americans bring a heavy battalion, light infantry and aviation
units to the fight, in addition to a Stryker-equipped infantry company. The Israeli
Merkava now prowls the battlefield, along with the highly-resilient Israeli infantry. In
response to a constant drumbeat of demands from the players of the Warfighter series,
T-80s make their debut on the hexagonal battlefield. A reinforced Australian infantry
company also joins the fray. Modern conflicts are often characterized by the presence of
irregular forces, and Maneuver Warrior includes partisans and guerillas, some of which
operate as snipers and sappers.

The Warfighter system is a classic hex-and-turn based wargame, with new twists on zones
of control and innovative reconnaissance objectives will keep players engaged in
on-the-fly tactical planning, not unlike real battalion commanders. Modular rules allow
players to increase or decrease complexity according to their comfort level and available
time.

In addition to the fast-paced rules, the Warfighter system lays out its scenarios in a
format modeled after US Army operations orders, and the battle tracking charts are
designed to resemble military synchronization matrices - two authentic touches from a
designer with over 10 years of military service in tank battalions and armored brigades.

The Maneuver Warrior box includes 4 double-sided geomorphic mapsheets, over a half-dozen
scenarios (both historical and hypothetical), 4 blank scenario worksheets, battle
tracking charts and reference cards for each force, rules for scouts, sappers, and
leaders, 3 sets of die-cut counters, and the second edition Warfighter 101 system rules.
Additional mapsheets and downloadable forms are available at www.bayonetgames.com. New
content will be posted every week between now and Origins, building toward the release of
Maneuver Warrior at gaming's premier convention.

Maneuver Warrior will sell for $35 + shipping.

Warfighter 101: The Guards is available for $20 + shipping; Warfighter 101: Movement to

Contact is also still available for $15 + shipping.

All of BayonetGames products are available at www.bayonetgames.com, where blank forms,
bonus maps, and reference cards can also be downloaded.
