Subject: Pork Chop Hill......all infantry??

I need a little more information on this. I have read various accounts of it being an all infantry and artillery battle. I can understand the lack of armor due to terrain. But what about air support? Book suggestions would be appreciated also. Thanks.

There were no attk helos back then and there was no particular CAS mission parameters established.  The USAF and Navy were engaged in aerial combat at a place called MiG Alley, on the Nk-PRC border.
