Subject: ROTC Project: Cover

I am a cadet with an ROTC unit and was assigned to teach my Company about cover. I was wondering If anyone could either tell me what is required to stop small arms fire(size of a berm of dirt required to stop 7.62 AK-47 rounds for example) or provide me with the proper FM to consult about this topic. In addition any tips would be helpful. c/PVT S.R.
