Non aggressive? Scared? Afraid of the enemy? Anyone,SEAL or otherwise, who believed that should read the Medal of Honor citations for the following 18 men.

I dunno guys. I been following this as best I can for a couple of days, and I don't get it. All this bickering between services.
I belong to the National Association for the 10th MTN DIV. You start listening to these ordinary guys tell about WW2 and it doesn't take long to figure out they had a "can do" attitude. In my experience there's not a Spec Op guy going that wouldn't "jump to" to give someone a hand. The hat never mattered. Never. And that's not taking into account the other folks, like the pilot that puts his bird into a place the devil himself wouldn't buy, just to haul some guy he never met before out of harms way. Or the medic that puts himself out there to bring you back, cause you ain't gonna do it on yer own. When two branches get to beating there chests over who's 'sposed to do what when and where, it always turns to "SCHTUFF". You're either part of the problem or part of the solution, and if your fighting your buddies, then you're part of the problem.

Anyone who thinks the KNOW who has the best special forces in the world is just plain ignorant.
Special forces operations and capabilities are so varied, even within their own ranks that it is impossible to determine who is best because the only common ground that exist is the fact that they are special forces.

Exactly. SOCOM is exactly that, a team. An example (which may not be the best, but whatever)...the competition team at my MMA gym is dang good (I really hope to join their team in a few months). Inside of that team, is individuals, just like an SOF unit. Some are excellent strikers, some are excellent wrestlers, and some are excellent grapplers. Now, within each group, there is a sub-group. Some strikers have heavy hands, some have great defense, some have excellent kicks and knees, and some have extremely good elbows, and some have a mixture. The wrestlers, some have great takedowns, and some have great clinch, some have great GnP, and some have a mixture. Of the grapplers, some have a great closed gaurds, some have great top attacks, and some have great chokes. Now, although they are each crosstrained, as long as each one plays his game/skill, he is probably going to win. I wouldn't want the strikers to play a grappling game, or the grapplers/wrestlers to have a striking match. That's sort of like SOCOM. I don't want AFSOC combat swimming or clearing houses or SEALs calling in bombs and vectoring in heavy aircraft...that's not their best game/skill.

the argument would be between the US seals/delta, British SAS, and Israeli SRF!!!
Criteria for to judge is experience, training, hardware, doctrine, and personel.

is this subject seriously still debated? this is why I have not been on this site in a while. I cant stand ignorant people comparing the size of other peoples dicks, because the people with the real balls do not seriously debate this issue, their all different spokes of the samke wheel? Do you know what a spoke on a wheel is? Go look it up? While your at it look up the concept of team too. Then when you do, and when you mature, when your a bit wiser, then come back to this post and positivly contribute. There are people on this site that REALLY, really, really want to do something special with their life, be it SEALs, Marine, Recon, Rangers, Airforce, or they have really been there and are humble and REALLY contributing usefull information to people such as myself and GOP.
Please, I am not intending to be mean, just compare the size of diff SOF dicks somewhere else and not here because it is older than old, okay?
and to the "wise men" that really help out I appreciate your wisdom more than can be said.
"A wise man learns from a fools mistakes." not calling the knowledgeable men on here fools by anymeans, ya'll have just lived and GOP and I are just uploading a bunch of info so we can make the best desicion.

I agree with Colts 100%.
I will say this though, saying that the "US seals/delts, British SAS, and Israeli SRF!!!" are the best units in the world isn't fair to the other units whatsoever.
The Aussie SAS is unbelievably good at Long Range Recce.
The USMC FR is unbelievably good at SR.
The Italian Komsubin and German Kampfschwimmers are unbelievable good combat swimmers.
The GIGN, CAG, and GSG9 are unbelievably good at Direct Action.
The South African Special Task Force is unbelievably good at Hostage Rescue.
The Navy SEALs and SBS are unbelievably good at almost any op near the water.
The US Army SF are unbelievably good at FID.
The Coast Gaurd Rescue Swimmers are unbelievably good at rescue swimming (I know they aren't a combat SOF unit).
I probably left off some excellent units, but my point is this: who are we to say who the best of these units are? Also, how can anyone compare every SOF to come up with a "whose best" answer, as they all have specializations, etc.
