oh and talking down to horsesoldier, just exemplifies the fact that your ignorant and immature.

OK, this is wrong. I have seen Horsesoldier post alot of bullsh*t about SEALs which is just retarded and uneducated. For example, he once sayed SEALs "Use gun as bullet hose and thinks sayed bullet hose is most effective cover", in fact, the tactic mentioned above is (correct me if I'm wrong medic/mough) a Centerpeel. Basically used in ambushes to hit the enemy, and get the heck out of there, or to break contact.

Oh, as far as the Kamphschiwmmers, that is all they do really, they do very little on the ground but in the water they rock.
"

Actually they do quite a lot of LW

Regardless, I have heard some awesome things about Kamphshwimmers (sp?) in the water. Mainly that their training exercises are the toughest in the world

You know, this reminds me of a discussion I remember from a long time ago.  I think it involved beer.  But my memory is fuzzy.  There was a mixed group of us.  Some of the young bucks were puffing there chests out about what elite meant.  The Airborne guys were harrassing the Mountain guys, and they all got to hissing and spitting.  Anyway, a bunch of the senior NCO's were leaning back in there chairs enjoying the show, when one of them pointed out, that the last thing you'd want is a paratrooper on a 75' rope 300' up a cliff, cause he'd probably want to jump, whereas if you stuck a skitrooper in a plane at 10,000 ft. you probably wouldn't want him to rappel out.  We got to laughin' so hard at the picture that it took the edge of the younger guys.  The point being, that it's kinda hard to make comparisons.
One of my good buddies who just returned from Iraq pointed out that they had used our mountain soldiers in MOUT work, and there were going to be alot of Airborne guys who were going to see some heavy action without ever having made a combat jump.
My point here, is that sometimes all the special training in the world amounts to not, if all Uncle Sam, or any country for that matter, needs, is a body in uniform.

Come to think of it.... Didn't we just put a Navy guy in charge in Afghanistan?   If any of you SEAL guys are scouting out a potential beach head, I got an inside track on some ocean front property in Kabul.....

I'll bet sitting on a dock in Git'mo Bay, sipping tequilla with a seniorita in each arm, and watching a Ranger clear an underwater minefield would be all kindsa fun......
