There have been many comments in this thread claiming 'there is no best, they're all good... there's no way to tell... we’ll never know blah blah blah". BullSh!t - among the elite special forces community there is definitely a single “best” and it’s the American SEAL team 8 (formerly SEAL TEAM SIX now called DEVGRU).

The measure by which I base my conclusion is this: Capability. No other nation in the world provides the level of technology and resources into its elite units than the American military.

Hands down, bar none, American DEVGRU is the most capable spec ops in the world?thus; they are the most potent and lethal of them all.

Dang, this board is filled with retards (no offense to any mentally retarded people). DEVGRU (Development Group) is codename for ST6, just as CAG (Combat Applications Group) is codename for Delta. DEVGRU is strictly Navy and CAG is strictly Army...Ninja's excluded.

Joe, I think I miss worded my sentence. A center peel is to make them appear to be the superior force, I don't think they typically go ambush larger forces.

Yes, this thread is filled with ridiculous/uneducated comments. In fact, it is kind of hilarious to look and see some of the responses. When you hear things like "I have heard that DEVGRU is filled with Delta members and they handpick SEALs...just what I have heard", you have to ask the question: Who in the heck told you this? No, your cousin who is a truck driver in the National Guard probably doesn't know the facts regarding Special Operations.

No offense to any truckers in the ARNG, just using that as an example.
