As I understand the SBS(r) are now allowing civilians to attempt their selection. Does this mean civilians can join as officers in the SBS reserve forces (or other UKSF reserve units)? Or is it that regular officers get posted there for 3 years only?
Also, as I understand it UKSF Officers do not go on 'missions' but remain at base commanding from there or am I wrong - I have no affiliation with the military so I only know what i read, so may very likley be wrong.
Please feel free not to answer due to OpSEC etc.
Great forum here, seems to be less banter and impatience which seem to be killing many other military forums.
