An Iranian military combatant in Iraq I can well understand lifting, but Istanbul?

 

Reminds me of the media stories about the CIA snatching people in Italy without the Italians permission.

 

If people knew where they had gone they wouldn`t be secret agents!

works both ways rocky.  you want to grab their guys they are probably going to grab up some of your guys tit for tat.

So does that mean we have your moral imprimatur to fund equip arm train and lead Baluchis and other dissident groups in Iran to attack military and civilian targets?  Blow up their generators, pipelines, refineries, mosques? 

I feel so much better now.

 I dont think its a long shot to say they have been making efforts already, whether they have been succesful is another thing. Most likely we will never find out.

 

The Iranians are not going to parade those they kidnap, and we are not going to release the fact we lost people, unless their high profile made it unavoidable. These actions would not share a relationship with their actions against the Brit Sailors.

 

Whether or not people want to admit it to themselves we are at war with Iran, if it moves into the overt side and enters the public concious is dependent on the politicians growing a pair of balls.

 

I would like to believe we could claim the success at taking Asgari, but the fact is we are not the only player on the block who would like to pick his mind and take him out of the picture. Its just easier for the Iranians to point fingers at the great satan antagonist. Of course we are not going to correct them one way or another - keep the assholes guessing. And if another nation is responsible, its not like their going to complain with the Iranians pointing fingers and directing there resources in the wrong direction.

   You say we? Exactly who is we? The only people who are at war with Iran is Iran! LOL Unless you mean Americans?? Well in that case there at war with everyone, including themselves they love a good scrap. Shame they can`t deal with them without the help of there Allies.
