LOL, I'll let Horsesoldier explain that one, since they are close friends .

I was looking forward to Braddock going to SF training, that way if Horsesoldier ever found him Braddock might "accidently" get ran over by a Bradley.

Braddock.  That's one of those things that's sort of grown dimmer over the passage of time that we'd really prefer not to have in sharp focus again.  Ever.

man was a legend in his own mind which was only tangentially in contact with reality based on his posts.
prat actually thought that having a vanity press knock off a few copies of his crap made him a published author and so on.

Say what you want about Braddock, but without him the "Green Berets" would never have made contact with extraterrestrials, mastered invisibility, or learned to speak dolphin!!

Braddock, AKA Terrance Jones, USARNG MP wannabe, Ex US Navy? Is the only person I have ever seen banned from the US Army website.

SCCO Marine is a piker compared to Braddock. He'd cut and paste articles, insert his own commentary, and post it as original.

As an example....

He claimed to know and influence the entire spec ops community, and was a basic nutjob. He had a design for a spec ops/jump aircraft, but forgot one detail..........if you put the jump doors in front of the wings and engines, BAAAAD things happen.

SCCO Marine is actually pretty respectable, I don't have a problem with him. The funny thing about Braddock was (as you mention) his claim of influencing the entire SOF community, but he called US Army SF "Green Berets" and did not know who to contact to join under 18x. Remember when he advocated that Army SF should change it's doctrine on clearing buildings so that a multiple story building could be cleared from floor-up, top down? Another funny thing was his vocabulary...he would have gotten hazed if he would have made it through the SF pipeline.
I can just imagine Terrance in the latrine (or bathroom, whatever it's called) when Iceman the SF operator (and a few other SF guys) walks in a gives Terrance a wedgie and stuffs his head down the toilet, all to the laughs of his SF friends. "Please mister Green Beret, don't force me to use my Shaolin martial arts background on you!"

Another way to explain Braddock/Braddock Caesar (And his various other incarnations) :

I considered making a "Barking Moonbat" certificate and starting a thread for nominations.

I shelved the idea because Braddock would have won the award in perpetuity. No fun having a contest when you already know who the victor is.

Oh, he was worse than a Rambo wannabe, he was more like a "Rambo sent to the Super Secret Squirrel PhD Program" wannabe.  If you dig back far enough you can probably find his posts, lots of them start with semi-coherent subject lines like "Techno-Objectification of Martial Self-Defensives for Special Operations" and would then be full of incoherent misues of jargon.  He was a true winner for getting into very snitty arguments with people who knew a whole lot more about assorted topics than he did (see if you can find his exchanges with Shek for some fun reading), and for sort of carrying on like a five year old, even though he is, apparently, in his late 30s, maybe 40s.

Eventually someone really pushed him on putting up or shutting up as far as his claimed plan to join the Nat'l Guard Special Forces and become the prophet who single-handedly "victorified" the US military against al-Qaeda while preparing everyone for the war with China.  At that point he seemed to go away.

He's also self-published a couple books on how the US military should reform to fight modern battles or something.  I can't recall titles, but back when he was throwing them around I did notice that Amazon lists them for pretty hefty prices.

In short, Strategy Page's resident Mall Ninja, for a while.  I'd imagine he'll turn back up, unless he's found another forum to rant on.
