must read all posts missed the one re sa14 being sa-80

In which case i disagree regarding accuracy the sa80 is in all probability the most accurate battlefield rifle available. Accuracy is not the reason certain units did not adopt it. Reliability, maintainability, sights fogging, being but a few. but those units that did not adopt it are allegedly renowned for selecting there own kit anyway. I find it some what far fetched that some one should be punished for just that.

reallbritpatriot, get the fuck out of here. Unfortunately, this site does not have mods and are very lenient in allowing dumbasses like you to hang around, but I promise you that NO ONE here believes your claims. Look, I honestly don't know how the heck you were in the SAS and went through BUD/S (although it is probably possible), and how you claim to be a part of not only one, but two of the most elite units in the English speaking countries, yet your grammar is absolutely horrible. I'm not even sure if you could pass the aptitude tests to be a lowly Navy SEAL. Also, IF you were in the SAS and won all of those medals, then why are you on a public website bragging about your exploits? Jesus Christ dude, the SAS is a highly guarded organization, I'm not sure that the British government would like you going around talking about their selection course, etc. Also, no member of the SAS in my opinion (having never met a SAS guy) would rate SOF as broadly as you just did. Heck, most SOF guys don't go around rating other units period...they have much better things to do and they obviously know each others strength and weaknesses.

My opinion is fake
A few points to substantiate my position

1(quote) i was in the SAS for 12 years acheiveing 6 medals including gallantry and silver star took part in a series of special forces missions including 3 years in Iraq and 4 in afhanistan i also nearly went to korea with the navy seals but i dropped out for family reasons.

2. because i beleived it put my own life at risk i was demoted to captain -

Point 2 infers he was a major (ie sqdn commander) so not likely to be in the field on obs/ small ops.

12 years in the SAS - Iranian embassy was 1981 Gulf  1991 so doable but Osamas lot were really 2001 onwards those dates dont fit (he certainly implies he has been on current ops in those theatres)

Next point whilst ranks can serve there whole career in the regiment officers (caveat to the best of my knowledge)  typicaly only do a short tour then return to unit. they may be invited back as sdn leader etc.

Medals galantry silver star - these are american medals -im not disputing they have been awarded to british troops, but why no mention of his british medals.

And lastly quite frankly writing style and grammer and do not come up to scratch for an officer ( spelling i will ignore as that may be down to key board ineptitude.) but style well seems to be some one junior in years and not exceptionaly well educated at that.

So in my opinion hes either a Walt or possibly a very good wind up merchant.

Real sorry Reall brit patriot reveal youreself (in the decent sense of the word)

Be you Wind up merchant or tosser

My bad must read properly and proof read  - the queens gallantry medal is of course a british medal (hangs head in shame and embarrasment)

for some bizare reason i managed to confuse gallantry and honour.

I have fired the sa80 yes but not the m16.

I have also never fired a musket, flintlock, uzi, or the accuracy international .50 however i could make an accurate assesment as to which is more accurate (in competent hands).
