Subject: Does anybody know of a PC miltary combat game that has Aussie Diggers in it?

I'm looking for a pc game that might have the option to play an Aussie Digger role. Yeah, yeah I know VBS2 does, but that's strictly for the defence fella's as a combat sim. It's way too pricey for the ordinary gamer. Any feeds folks?

I know it's pretty old and not too pretty but you could try steel panthers mbt for windows. This has heaps of different nations and aus is one of them. There are a lot of platforms and terrains available and a lot of historic scenarios. Give it a try its a free download from shrapnel games, you might like it, or not.

The old Ghost Recon had ADF skins you could download, it was buggy as hell. It was never a specialized for an ADF scenario.  First Person shooter is VBS2, has really dumb AI, mailny because it is designed for everyone to be a player.
 
Mid level tactics is Steel Panthers, mainly for mech heads and black hats.
 
I have seen Civ 3 & Civ 4 do Pacific Campaigns, not that crash hot.
 
There is not many out there

ArmA: Armed Assault has Australian mods. iirc it is the publically available version of the software we use in the ADF.
