This is just a little open source tidbit about the SuperBug's RADAR and some of its EW capability. Please pay particular attention to those bits about SAM offsets and Sukhoi detection threshholds.

Just provided for general grins and giggles.

Yep.

Still at least those bunch of tossers are about to get even more upset. When Phase II of the ACR tosses them out onto what they think with and orders MORE SH's and a few Growlers to go with em... :)

Has anyone seen that latest schitt with "Grishy"? Please tell me it's APA's idea of humor?

Sad. Clowns don't even know the difference between flyout, lob, and mean effective A2A missile range at aspect and relative speed.

Not to mention why the R-77 isn't the terror of the skies, while AMRAAM and soon Meteor will be.

LM are now saying 2018 before the F-35A will be fully operational .

I wonder how long until a follow on SH buy is announced?

There are problems with the Sparky's electrically powered flight actuators currently in redesign resolution. USAF and USMC is planning weapon quals on 6As and 6Bs in 2010. IOC for first wing is 2013. THAT hasn't changed. I keep reading these MSM news stories about the Sparky being in trouble, and I keep coming back to the same BS news media hysteria. This bird  is undergoing normal development for a warbird. For crying out loud the initial design requirement for the TFX started in 1955 and that bird wasn't the definitive F-111 Aardvark until 1977!

Still you have to watch LockMart management to make sure they don't rip you off. The engineer side of the house is SOUND.
