Why does the "old enemy" feel they need to snoop when they could tune into local news/tv and get a run down on the wargames? ;)

"China has gotta learn that if you want to sneak around, you need to be a little quieter than a blender full of nails." What a great line. Problems with AGI's down there? Let them play chicken with a 10K ton ship a few times. Also the SEALs would love to get their attention with their boats. Was sailing on Tuesday in Boston harbor and an LNG ship was coming out as we were coming in. It was surrounded be the usual coast guard ships and other boats for protection. So I tell my helsman to tack at one point to get out of the way of a USCG boat. I told him we had the right of way, but he had guns. Last I heard, he was still laughing, but then you'd have to have been there.

On Sydney harbour, the local harbour traffic laws give warships right of way above all others. The locals remember is by the saying: "If it's big and grey, get the f*ck out of the way!"
