Iran crowd control

| I was not sure of which category to put this so I stuck it here.
I have had some crowd control training in the Marine Corps and I was wondering why does it appear that the Iranian Police/militia seem to have so little? Seeing them in action it looks like two different mobs confronting each other instead of an organized disciplined force attempting to control/disperse a mob. Also what the heck is with the motorcycles?
