The more central thinkers on the left, I would think, don't want to raise ACCORNs profile any more than absolutly nessary.  On the other hand it might be used as a lightling rod as they form multipal paralel organizations with the same MO's.

On the other other hand it could be the intention to tell progresives to study the practices of ACCORN and go do likewise wile giving the party members increased "plosible deniability".  Then ACCORN victoms might fit the bill.

 

On the other other other hand, the people who burn down buildings can miss understand the desires of their central leaders or give into direct self interest.  Fire/bomd at an ACCORN property could be grand standing by local leaders who want bigger profiles in the movement or old time attemps to cover up other crimes.  Burn the records before you get caught moving organization moeny into personal accounts.  Then scream about your political persecution so much the cops decide it isn't worth the greaf to investegate you.  The political pressure to close the case in a way that stays on message (find a skin head w/ no aliby) canmake things interesting.  Smart crimanals reserch who will invvestigate the case before they commit the crime.
