If the Dems intended to move towards the middle they would roll the red carpet of welcom for Spector and let him retain all his senority which would be the best campaine suport posible.  They would make him feel extreamly comfortable recruiting other RINOs to trade flags with him.  This would increase the Dems control of congress but it force them to compromise on both ends and means.  So they have laid down the smack. Some at CIA saw a trap.  What if this is all OBL's got?  What if he dosn't take over anything?  What if we win?  Today everbody only cares about the bennifits but when it's over they will only care about the costs.  That's when we get stuck with the check.  So the Agency only inhanced interegation when directly ordered to.  They asked for memos to Cover Their Agency.  They want asurances from ranking officials.  Cheany makes some promises.  They told congress what they were doing and hoped Nancy would cut funding for inhanced interegations.  (Somme agency people wanted their excuses for failure back.) Please stop me before I interegat again they said between the lines of the breifings.

 

Nancy saw a trap.  CIA wobbles between hiring stock market cowboys and Morromons.  Only thing they have in common is they are Republicans.  Only reason they hire the mormons is because Dem congress gives them hell about drinking on the job. (Morrmons: not bozz or whores. We could change this.  We could keep the same ed buget and give the administraters all the same junkets.  We could give the same kickbacks to the Dems laundered throught the teachears unions.  We could pay the teachers their rate to sit at home and sell avoin.  With just the moeny we use to light, heat and cool the schools.  Plus maybe what we spend to fuel and tire the busses we could get the education results we get today or better.  (We would still need truance centers to keep junior varcity crimanals off streets and goverment payed day care.  Thats all many kids get now.  )  With the moeny schools spend on fuel and electricity we could buy an internet device for every kid and teach H.S. on line.  We could use the same incentives that keep people paying moeny to play World of Warcraft to keep kids studding.  Math, sience, history and liturature are intrinsicly rewarding if they aren't taught like your just couping phone books.  Add to the the simpual visual reward of seeing lights glow and move on the screen when you do well.  Kids memorise all kinds of things just to see victory screens on playstations.  Then you use the insentive of competion and comrodery in an online community- World of Warcraft again.  Then you top it off by paying top preformers and contest winners.  Smart kids could even get pocket moeny for teaching dumb ones on line.

 

Why don't we do it.  Institutions need institutionalized citezens and the unions know their moeny would dry up with out the smokescreen of lots of kids smoking in the boys room.

 

So how do Dems play at liberating the people with out liberating the people.  They replace the integrate blacks into society agenda with the gay justice agenda.  Smoke em if you got em.

A companys preformance will largly rest not on efficency in the tecnical sence or in relationships with costermers and suppplyers but in relationships with congress who doles out the allaluances.  The number of allowances is in theory fixed and reduced year to year but loop holes loom over the plan.  More allauances could be congered up by paying Al Gore to plant trees in countrys where record keeping is flexable-  (Al's old friend from the White House days Joseph Romm calls "vast magority" of offsets "rip-offsets."  You could maybe borrow allauances from the future and pay them back like the national debt.  Congress could decide that the program was having to great a negetive ecconomic impact and print up extra allauances for targeted sectors of the ecconomie.  Raising campain moeny will get easyer when congress has more to sell.  Distorting the national ecconomie in line with sinical political reality or ideological pipe dreams will also be easyer.

I'd pay to see her internal polling on the ecconomy.  She did not sound like a pilot who was working to stay in the air.  She sounded like a pilot who was looking for a less terible peace of terain to skid accrost and bracing for impact.  She did sound very empathic.  Nice lady any way.

2.  Wile you were doing your home work for this process you reveiwed the history of nominations before you.  Don't pretend you didn't.  Discribe the nomination process of Judge Thomas and explain to me why you should not get the same treatment.

 

3.  Is it important to have hispanics on the court? If so why not Miguel Estrada?

 

4.  Once Anglo and Saxion were seperate races.  For the magority of American history Jewish, Irish and Italian were races.  Now they are a religion or nationalitys not races. (sammydavicejr link like Irish will undergo deracefication.  Intermarage is just one of the engines of that process.  Is this a good or bad cultural transformation?  Will the Administrations strategy for your confirmation increase or decrease the rate at which Hispanic becomes a regional rather than a race discrition?
