NY Times editorial page asks what O's econ policy is.  Confidence building is needed but O's "promises keeped" have people more confused than confedent.  How do people write the healthcare bill into their bugets?  No one knows yet because adminisrtative rules still being writon.  If at this point team O launch a new idea people ask why havent you done this yet?  If he stands by legeslative tropheys he is saying, "It could be worce!"

 

Why do people of LA feel W did a better job with Katrina than O did with BP spill.  W sent helos.  O shut down the oil industry just when BP shut down the turist industry.  Europinian unemploment rates until the goverment capitulates and belives the purpuse of macro economics is to serve micro ecconomics.  All politics is local and all real ecconomics is micro.

Yes,  I see his point.  I am still waiting for the Dems to see the "chickens comming home to roost" with them.  What is the last fight the Dems won or lost with out painting their oposition as imoral?  They cry wolf every time some one gets a few points up in the pols on them. 

 

People lie about O.  Dan Rather lied about W.  Did O ever mention that using forged documents against W was bad form.  Attempting to glue W's millitairy discharge to his forhead is no so unlike glueing O birth records to his forehead.  They should both stop.  Lets not hold our breath though.

Nika of Morning Joe is amazed that Becks half a million cracker march wasn't "crazy violent" and that they looked like nice people.  If I said that I was suprised that the Promise Keepers could hold large meetings and not be violent or crude there would be something wrong with me.

The bad war.  I think the Spanish American war was the bad one.  I'm funny like that.

 

War is a scurge and a curse on man kind.  We each have a moral oblogation to reduce war.  Thats why I find reflexive belife in moral equivalance and habitual calls for proportionate violance imoral due there tendancy to prepetuate war indefenatly.  Proportionate violance, like ineffective punishment, is among the most cruel things on earth.  Never give someone a small wound.  For violance to be moraly justified it must be decisive. 

 

Thinking of discreat times of war and peace is counterprodutive at this junture.  We want to instead think of regions of peace which can be expanded and regions of war.  Wars may lay dormate but sometimes they end.  Pushing the war into a dormate state must not be confused with ending it.  On the otherhand pushing it into dormancy or pushing it out of dormancy can both be tactics for moving towards the end of a given pattern of war.  Tempo changes are sometimes good tools. 

 

The war burden which the human race carries is in fact larger than commenly understood.  I could repeat the Cross of Iron argument here.  Ike was talking about the goods spent to make war.  I am more focused on the goods not created due to the presence of war dormant or otherwise.  I am thinking much less about the high profiles attacks and the rebuilding afterwards and more about the low profile continuse threats that prevent the simplist forms of building in the first place.  Why can't Nujood read?

Aragant focuse onn policy and neglect of PR "blowing from the top."  The policy was bad dog food and the people didn't like it no matter how hard you cramed it down their gullit.  Acedemics are allowed to say that democracy dosn't work because people don't know whats good for them but thats a hard sell for the leader of a political party.  Thats not playing to win it's prepairing your excuses for failure.  It's PR.  Not real good PR but flailing to explain self.  O continual campain was continual PR and politics.  The only time he stoped selling him self was when he scared him self with how bad he was at it.  When he complained that the GOP didn't have any ideas that was spin. Selling votes isn't policy it politics. O saying that his failures were due to not being attentive to PR is like Napoleon Bonaparte blaming his failures no not being attentive enough to Military Affairs.

 

O also spins his curant straits as a positive.  Weather or not the GOP wins or fails his job is going to get easyer.  He won't half to change.  GOP magoritys will be compelled to give in to him or GOP minoritys will be compealed to give into him.  It's a slight vareation on one of his earlyer fantacys.  He promised to be an forceful progresive and to end political strife.  He was going to steam roller over the GOP and get them to thank him for it.  His beer sumit out reach was all spin and no substance/policy compromise.  GOP said you can piss down our legs but you can't tell us it's raining and the rest is history.  All beer and no sumit.

All PR and no plan. Maybe it's time for O to stop complaing that the GOP ain't serious and get serious himself.

 

Now O says he should have not cut taxes so than when the GOP forced tax cuts it would look like bypartison compromise.  In truth O cut taxes to avoid the humiliation of having a by partison majority cut taxes over his protests.  He didn't cut taxes as a gift to the GOP.  He cut taxes as a nessairy act of PR self defence.  It was a nessairy survival stratigy.  If he haden't cut taxes before a GOP lead by partison majority forced him to cut taxes he would look like twice the tax and spend cleshay he looks now.
