Legion 46, thank you for the replies, and thank you for the pictures you've sent me. A small correction, these objections were not mine, I was merely reposting it from a different board. Anyway, I am quite convinced. Let me know if you'd want me to put online any of the pictures that you sent me.

Legion 46, no offence taken, and anyway you weren't nearly as abrasive as I might well have been in these circumstances if I were you. I'll put your photos up around Jan 9-10, as I am on a very limited upload bandwidth right now.

OK, I don?t know how to tell this story or explain it with any more clarity to tell you what happened. If you want, go to tank-net and look up my profile. There, you will find my e-mail. Send me a message and I will send you some pics of A41, the same vehicle in the pic in the strategy page thread. As to why you have a pic dated the year before, I don?t know. But I know for fact that this is my vehicle and what I wrote in my account is as it happened on 28 SEP 04. The pic on the thread is from the following day as it was only in the motor pool at FOB Freedom for 1 day (29 SEP 04) before being taken to FOB Marez (Suicide Bomber in the Mess Tent) for repair. I?m sure if you ask the S-2 for 2-3 IN, maybe he?ll be able to share more detailed info about the VBIED. |
