USA got lucky in WW2,they had 2 more allied countries fighting side-by-side(British/Russia).The only reason USA won is cause they dropped the bomb on Japan.How does this relate?If the US dropped a bomb on Russia today,USA would actually lose,cause Russia has way more nuclear bombs than USA
