Putin says he could have troops inside Poland ‘in two days’: report

Anyone believe he couldn't if he did want?

He would need to move the troops and necessary logistics support into position on their borders before doing so.  2 days from today is out, 2 days after preparations is possible if NATO doesn't respond to the buildup.

First the tiny countries without significant militaries. Probably walkovers, though they may be able to delay victory past 2 days.
• Vilnius (Lithuania) less than 40km from the border.
• Riga (Latvia)
• Tallinn (Estonia) end of the line, difficult to reinforce.

The following are unlikely unless caught totally by surprise.
• Bucharest (Romania) large army and very favorable defensive terrain make it a tough nut to crack
• Warsaw (Poland) even larger army, probably the 3rd toughest in NATO, favorable terrain, and easy to reinforce.

The thing is, even though Putin can do it to the minor states, all he will succeed in doing is restarting the Cold War, revitalizing the NATO forces, and result in massive trade sanctions. Economic survival would depend on trade with China, and that is years, probably more than a decade, from being realized.
