Subject: Minelaying UUV?
Herald1234    1/23/2007 5:27:25 PM
I know that mineclearing UUVs are in the inventories of various navies, but has anybody thought about a MINELAYER? There are hudreds of bottom mines laying around in the inventories of the world's navies. It just occurred to me that a "minelayer sled" that could be submarine piggybacked and then sent in to plug heavily a defended chokepoint might be possible. Call it one of my lunatic ideas. Herald
