One very good reason is there has not been war on US soil for more than a century, whereas Europe has been destroyed 3 times. 2 by war once by communism. The explanation of a superior system is only valid if you regard 3 world countries which have inferior constititions. The communistic countries does/did not have "inferior" systems - they have systems that not only isn't a part of the solution (as the tribal systems of Africa are), they are the problem.

The longest continuous span of peace in European history is the post WW2 period under the umbrella of Pax Americana. BTW, exactly what is the inherrent defect of European culture that for thousands of years has led it to periodically self destruct?

there was a tima were the uk was the only superpower in the world and ruled the waves and also was the industrial and technology leader there was a time were germany was the leader in physiks and chemical technology the us are simply has a larger population and so a larger common market etc the economies of scale are working the us get a lot of input from foreign countries and they are open for it btw akaik the most of the phd in the us got to foreigners and ibm has the best chicken curry

It is not so much the inherent defects in European culture. The Americans started with a clean sheat - and did not bring the old power structure. The struggle between the Church and King cost quite a few lives in medieval Europe - that struggle was over when the USA was founded. The struggle between the big landowner and the smallholders led to the American civil war, where the USA was to near selfdestruction for comfort. The massive economic growth in the 60'ies and 50'ies made the migration from land to city possible without to much trouble. The selfdestruction tendencies come to the fore when development changes the power relation between the different parts of the population. The USA has had its share (it took 100 years to get the racial issue under control) of nasty situations; but has not had enemies determined og strong enough to benefit from the internal strife.
