NYMAS Lecture, Friday, Dec 15th: "Alexander the Great and Lessons from the Past" On Friday, Dec 15th, Prof. Guy MacLean Rogers of Wellesley College, will speak on “Alexander the Great and Lessons from the Past: How to Fight and Win a Counter-insurgency War” NYMAS lectures are held at the CUNY Graduate Center, Fifth Avenue and 34th Street, in the shadow of the Empire State Building. Talks, which are free to the public, begin at 7:00 pm and usually last about two hours.
