| NYMAS Fall 2006 Lecture Schedule
For over 25 years the New York Military Affairs Symposium has sponsored free lectures on military history, defense policy, and related subjects in a variety of academic fields.
The lecture schedule for the Fall 2006 academic term is now available.
This year?s NYMAS lecture series includes talks on ?The India - Pakistan Air War of 1965,? ?Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in World War II Veterans,? ?George Washington & Command in the Continental Army, 1775-1777,? ?Selective Realities, Selective Memories: the German Generals and National Socialism,? and more.
In addition, though details are still being ironed out, the annual Fall Conference will focus on ?Novelists and Historians: Telling a Compelling Story While Keeping the Facts Straight,? which will bring together a number of authors who've written military-historical themed fiction with historians who are specialized in the same areas.
