"The UN admitted that it had basically withdrawn its peacekeeping force on the Israeli/Syrian border. The 1,200 man peacekeeping force has been on the border since 1974 and Israel has long criticized the UN for allowing their troops to be used as human shields anti-Israel terrorists could hide behind. Now those peacekeepers are fleeing to Israel for protection." Am I the only one that finds this ironic? So just what is happening up on that border? It seems to be very quiet.

Oct 6, 2014:  While the Israeli Syrian border seems to be quiet there is fighting on the Lebanese Syrian border. Yesterday 5 Hezbollah men were killed there. This is border area is becoming an every which  way killing zone between Hezbollah, The Free Syrian Army, The Lebanese Army, Al Nusra and God knows who else, all taking a crack at each other.
