Here we have the M777 shooting back at a Mortar Team which engaged the FoB from the ridgeline.  Listen to teh comment in the background at 2:06!!!!

Im pretty sure I have posted this vid previously but it makes a nice contrast to the previous Mortar vid.  Those kids were self adjusting by eye and were involved in a much more "Personal" fight.  In this vid the guns are still under teh control of teh FDC and the FIre Mission is coming down digitally direct to the guns.

Wow. Impressive. Will the new EFSS be used in that sort of scenario in the future? Will EFSS be faster and safer? In that video they had to do a lot of picking up, moving, and aiming the mortar. Does EFSS do most of that automatically now?
