What do you expect? "Can't handle the 'tough' conditions in a warzone" - The young troops these days aren't 'toughened up' by basic training for a start, because it's not PC to do so - "You are abusing those troops" when you make them 'do without' or walk too far.
We are seeing the results of what began many years ago, but took full force effect in our training only during the billary years. Don't 'order' a private to DO something, it might violate their 'rights'. (like police call, or cleaning their barracks room!)
The conditions look worse than Bosnia, to a degree. I gotta say that dust looks nasty and all-pervasive, but unfortunately that is LIFE IN A COMBAT ZONE. get over it, do the job, come home and be THANKFUL for what you have here.
