Not quite science Fiction, but a bit of a conspiracy theory.... Good Day, Just wanted to let know about a recently published book called "These are my Credentials" by British Army Brigadier Jeff Little OBE. An amusing set of short stories that maybe true and maybe not!! military tales of the unexpected In the first issue we line up as follows: Black Taxi Belfast – Northern Ireland – Present Day. The tale of a senior British Army officer who arrives at Belfast City Airport after a regimental dinner in Surrey the night before. He has a serious hangover but that is only the start of his troubles as he does not get quite the reception that he was expecting! Volume 1 Hell let loose When Kuwait’s oilfields were set alight by retreating Iraqi troops anxious to flee the approaching coalition forces, the fire-fighting effort needed to douse them was enormous. The conventional ‘Red Adair’ style approach of snuffing the blaze out with an explosion was expensive and dangerous. Enter 2 Russians with a tank and a jet engine and just watch how they do the job! Volume 1 Death’s Door Longmoor Army Camp – Hampshire – 1975. Having completed his commissioning course at Sandhurst’s Royal Military Academy, a junior subaltern arrives at a training camp for his ‘special-to-arm’ course on joining the Army. The accommodation in a ‘tin-town’ of metal huts is not ideal, but one dark night he discovers just how deadly it can be when he finds a body pinned to his bedroom door with a cleaver through its neck. Volume 1 - SANP One sleeping Ghurka Soldier wakes up to a rather nasty shock. Will make your toes curl and that's all we are saying! The first book of 6 is out on Amazon. ?These are my Credentials - Military Tales of the Unexpected

Book launch Free to download on Kindle Platform
14-16 December 2012

Recently retired British Army officer Brigadier Jeff Little OBE has written a series of short stories under the title of “These are my Credentials.” Episode one is now published on Amazon Kindle.

According to Brigadier Little, conspiracy theories abound whenever secrecy prevails.

“Did man really land on the moon in 1969? Did an alien spaceship really crash land at Roswell, New Mexico in 1974? Do the Illuminati really want to impose a New World Order to rule over mankind?” asks Jeff.

The answer to these and many other questions will probably never be satisfactorily answered in some minds.

These are my Credentials (Kindle book) is currently free and available for download on their Amazon :

This range of quick-fire short stories take the reader on a journey from the green heartlands of Hampshire where tranquillity is suddenly shattered by tribal jealousies resulting in attempted murder on a bedroom door.

They range in time and space from the grey skies of Belfast to the lush jungles of the Far East and on to the Oil well fires of Kuwait.

Whether all of these tales represent the truth, are purely fiction or are simply an embellishment of the basic facts is for the individual to decide.  Who knows what dark and deadly secrets lie behind the facade of government spin?

“I am delighted to get this first book published” stated Brigadier Little. “We have some cracking stories to get out there.”
