What happens when "white hat hackers" become convinced (as are increasing numbers of Americans generally) that the government - in flagrant collusion with the banksters, agribusinesses, the Good Old Boys of the Oil Patch, and the rest of the politically connected "establishment" - is the enemy?

Consider that in the wake of the US Supreme Court's ruling on ObamaCare - or is it now ObamaTax? - there are increasing numbers of state governments voicing intentions of nullification, and how sentiments favoring secession are rising in parts of our republic in response to the increasing violation of the 10th Amendment as a matter of routine federal policy.

When the U.S. dollar crashes through the floor (achieving its genuine intrinsic value courtesy of the Federal Reserve System), what's going to keep these United States from going the way of the former Yugoslavia?

The USG has little culture of innovation and negative reward mechanisms, with risk averse management, inability to reward, civil service treated as a political football, knee-jerk "process" and regulation, and managerial careerism emphasizing stop-light powerpoint charts over long-term leadership and development. Thus trained, able people have no incentive to stay in the USG and deal with the quagmire of IA and bureaucracy the USG represents. Nationalistic elan only goes so far.

Consider computers with massive computing power and incredible speed, only available to a few countries, used by a country that has experience and the ability to use them in a world wide attack.  Touche'
