| You are forgetting the dire state of the Russian defense industry. I suspect the SU-37 will be produced in limited numbers and the next generation aircraft (MiG-1.42 for example) will probably never enter into production for lack of funding. Take into account the 'brain drain' of technical expertise leaving Russia beacuse of the lack of money it translates into the Russian air force being a paper tiger.
The F-35 and F-22 have capabilities that I'm sure have not been advertised so they are probably more advanced than we all know. The Russians are famous for overstating the capabilities of their weapons systems as well. |
