S''bout time Air Force. Now that the USDOD and the armed services are intensifying the capabilities and procurement of unmanned air vehicles, to inlcude their arming with AGM, AAM and ATMs, etc., next should be the sudden discovery of the usefulness of "parasite" super battletechnology, where one "mother" fighter plane or one MBT becomes two or more armed craft, with the deployment of armed robotic minicraft. Also, a true "flying battleship" for low- to medium alt aerospace dominance!?

Flying battleship? Not in the near future. I do believe that we will see the use of parasite vehicles for air and ground vehicles in the very near future, probably in a recon role at first. Can you imagine a MBT commander with the direct ability to see what is over the next hill?

They can already see over the next hill. I believe it's called the the dragonfly and weighs about 5 pounds. It is carried by us infantry.

Well, You could call the F-22 somewhat of a battleship and it would be even better if my "bee in the bonnet": An airliner type with updated Phoenix sprang off the ground.
