An understandable action to Israel's suicidal tendencies.

Though by no means acceptable.

If they wish to achieve their goals they should resort to outright thuggery, if done so by the cloak and daggers, not outright scare tactics targeting innocent loved ones.

Does anyone even know what methods they are trying to use?

There's a difference between political assassination and terrorism, though both utilize a lesser and greater psychological component, and more importantly, one brings blood on your hands of your country's own anointed... I think that's a sin. Terrorism is evil by definition though.

That is, I'm not complaining or making any point, but this is a good article and I'd love to know more!

Your disjointed multi-posting, usage of english, and your delusional unsupported statements about Israel all point to getting an unsatisfactory reply.  Maybe if you coherently supported your own remarks, your question might be replied to.

Make no mistake Israel will be in a war in the next 12 months... As we speak there is a vigorous determination in states throughout the middle east. Israel ironically is on the up & up due to its poor leadership that plunged it irresponsibly into a  skirmish it would allow become a full fledged war. This botched war provided Israeli's a good dose sobreighty. The elites (academic, culture and political) in israel has shown to the public the massive corrosion taking place.

With the infantry, which includes its 500,000 reservist force is at pre-87 training level (I mention this year, b/c it was the year of the 1st intifada, when IDF began the process of strategically alligning its doctrines to house keeping strategy)

Israeli military industrial complex has a napoleon complex and is the 3rd largest arm producer in the world. This gives Israel a war making potential a few decades back it couldn't dream. They are producing the anti-missile defense that will become the future of defense in the coming war with militant Islamic states/proxie militias...but not fast and cheap enough. This to me will be the key to Israel's coming war. The protection of the homefront to be able to a.withstand the first initial missile onslaughts and keep a functioning economy and b. have the military strength and vision to overwhelm its opponents either by air and by land to end the rockets within the first 72 hours.

With Ashkenazi's training ethic that has raised the IDF war readiness and bringing the generals away from the air dominance conceptsia to basic land warfare Israel is once again a worthy advisory....this and the tefen plan that will acquire namirs and merk IV's. and provide an overall upgrade to its military.

Israel must at some time realize that the world has place nuclear Iran on its shoulder... Israel thankfully has begun its preperations. tick tick tick

trenchsol    staged terrorist attacks   10/3/2008 3:44:04 PM
Two years ago (I think) there was an failed terrorist attack on US embassy in Damascus. Syrian security forces prevented terrorists from making more damage. Some said that attack was staged by Syrian authorities in order to give more credibility to their country in international affairs.

If that was true (I don't know, of course) could it be that they are staging more attacks recently as pretext for occupation of Lebanon ?

It's a lot worse and the people with "common sense" never did have the intelligence to realize that the current political situation could happen

 - Israel is smaller by land surface, but not smaller than the other countries in the Middle East.  America did sell lots of weapons to the Arab countries, but still Israel's military is larger than that of any country in the region, and way more effective.  So Israel is not a "smaller".  Now, if someone is already stronger, and still produces more, perhaps there should be another "complex" named after it.

 - The Napoleon complex is a myth, as a psych theory that smaller people compensate for shortness with military expansion.  Napoleon wasn't shorter, in fact he was same height as average people in his time.   He is mistakenly thought of shorter because he often appears alongside the Imperial Guard, who are handpicked for giant height.   This is from wikipedia.

 - It's strange that some people already pre-reserved a spot for Iran in the world, and absolutely want to see Iran fit that role, which is target practice for the armies of US and Israel, and possibly EU.   There was news a few days ago that the Iran's head of nuclear development (I forgot what is the exact name) offered to stop enriching uranium, if Iran could get electricity-generating uranium (not at weaponized level) from external sources, like Russia or the Gulf states.   That was an option proposed by the US in the first place, I think.   Now, if that gets implemented, wouldn't that be better?   Then Iran will just be making electricity, and they won't be enriching uranium, and there won't be any more talk of atomic bombs.
Why isn't the US all over it and making the deal go through?
Why are people speaking of "nuclear armed Iran" when there is this non-nuclear-arm option wide open?
