Is it just me but Israel has no cities listed on google maps just blank. You can figure out the highways to get from little cities in Laos to little cities in Myanmar. but no Tel-Aviv type in dead sea and scroll back

Thank you for the heads-up Norden. It looks as if the Google Maps tool is not yet complete, and a few countries are not yet covered at all, not only Israel but also Nepal, both Koreas, and even Argentina, while a few others appear to be "in process", such as Peru and Bolivia.
I wouldn't be surprised, however, if IPR considerations are the real reason for these blanks, at least as far as Israel is concerned: road maps are horrendously expensive here.
Google Earth works fine for Israel, except for the toponimy, for which GE sucks in a general way worldwide.
