QUOTES "We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us" -Golda Meir "Kill those who join other gods with Allah wherever you find them; besiege them, seize them, lay in wait for them" (Sura 9:5). "Jihad is a religious duty imposed by Muslim law for the spread of Islam ... Believers are under obligation to wage war against all unbelievers" - Encyclopedia Britannica "Yes of course this is about Palestine, cause that's the core issue in the whole world. That's what drives the Muslims to kill each other in Afghanistan, to fight the Iran/Iraq war, invade Kuwait, butcher each other in Syria, and Lebanon, to terrorize, India, Russia, Serbia, the Philippine Islands, Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, and Macedonia. Did I leave anywhere else out where Muslims are dying for Palestine? Like the Nazis before, you Arabs believe that everyone is Jew obsessed. Unable to figure out why you can't succeed and coexist on this planet you blame the Jew. While you Pals starve, die, and rant about the Jews your oil rich brothers squander the Arab inheritance on blonde whores and old military junk. Instead of world class cities and culture you have Jihad and raw sewage in your streets because the Jews right?" "Break Your Treaties with Infidels Whenever You Like!" If you fear treachery from any group [of non-Muslims], throw back [their covenant] to them, [so as to be] on equal terms [with them]. For Allah loves not the treacherous. Let not the unbelievers [all non-Muslims] think that they can get the better [of Muslims]. They [non-Muslims] will never frustrate [you]. (Koran 8:58-59)

ccooke    Another P!$$ing contest !!!   9/22/2004 5:29:33 AM
No doubt this will turn into another p!$$ing contest… Just to start the ball rolling, the per capita income in the UK is $27,700. Not $17,000 According to the CIA world fact book. Having said that I would not say, that the CIA “Fact Book” could be considered that accurate. So I have checked elsewhere as well….. ccooke….

"In our country there is room only for the Jews. We shall say to the Arabs: Get out! If they don't agree, if they resist, we shall drive them out by force." (History of the Haganah) Can you believe that? Believe it. It's an irrefutable quotation dating back to Israel's founding. If *anyone* said *anything* like that about *any* one else *anywhere*... it would be racism, pure and simple. Is it here? Israel "success" must be considered within the proper context. Without the massive degree of preferential treatment it receives, we would not be saying all of these exceptional things. The true exception is how *much* of an exception we make for Israel. Here's my question: WHY do we do what we do re: Israel? We are so far out on a limb in our blind support for this exclusive country, I fear the branch is going to break. What the heck are we doing?

Judy G    Another tasty quote.   9/26/2004 6:15:38 PM
"Why should the Arabs make peace? If I were an Arab leader, I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure, God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? There has been anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we came here and stole their country. Why should they accept that?" (David Ben-Gurion quoted in "The Jewish Paradox" by Nahum Goldmann, former president of the World Jewish Congress.)

"we have taken their country. " This gets old, but, let's do it, again. Really, Judy? So, you'll have no trouble telling me when "they" HAD a country? I've taken the trouble, in the past, to review the last 3000 years of history, and have yet to find a single moment when "they" ever had a country west of the Jordan River. Can you? If course, by "them", we're speaking of Arabs who actually have lived in that land all along, and not of those who merely immigrated over the years when the Jews brought economic development to the land described by the Ottomans, and by European and American visitors, in the years before the growth of modern Zionism, as a nearly empty wasteland. Mostly a desert, with some malarial swamps, with a few small cities on the coasts, and a Jewish majority inhabited Jerusalem. You can't, by "them" mean the Turks, who ruled the land for something more than the 500 years immediately preceding British rule, because Turks aren't Arabs. Right? And, you can't mean absentee Arab landowners, resident in Alexandria, Beirut and Damsascus, because, after all, "they" weren't "there" and "they" are not the ones "there", now.

"Thats not my quote" -- Judy, that is the oldest sham reply in the book: BSL asked several very pointed questions that direct address the subject of the quote that you posted -- why cant you answer or reply to those? Do you have any knowledge at all on this issue, or can you only post quotes from others that support your view? NewGuy

Judy G    Quote to think about.   9/27/2004 9:44:31 AM
"Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French...What is going on in Palestine today cannot be justified by any moral code of conduct...If they [the Jews] must look to the Palestine of geography as their national home, it is wrong to enter it under the shadow of the British gun. A religious act cannot be performed with the aid of the bayonet or the bomb. They can settle in Palestine only by the goodwill of the Arabs... As it is, they are co-sharers with the British in despoiling a people who have done no wrong to them. I am not defending the Arab excesses. I wish they had chosen the way of non-violence in resisting what they rightly regard as an unacceptable encroachment upon their country. But according to the accepted canons of right and wrong, nothing can be said against the Arab resistance in the face of overwhelming odds." Mahatma Gandhi

Judy, will you please tell us what your sources are? Links would be greatly appreciated. But I must correct you Sikhwarrior: AIM was not invented in Israel... ICQ was. AIM is AOL's clone...as you must already know, AOL bought Mirabilis in 1998, just two years after ICQ's release. http://company.icq.com/info/press/press_release2.html They were bought just two years later, and AOL renamed the company ICQ.
