| Peace is always desirable, but only if BOTH sides want it, and so far, it only seems that the only peace that the PALIs want is one that doesn?t include ANY Jews left alive in Israel. Incase you have forgotten, EVERY promotion of land for peace by the Israelis has been greeted with the blood of their women and children at the hands of those peace-loving PALIS, who immediately start homicide bombings, sniper attacks, etc. You have to have TWO willing parties, and the PALIS, under Arafat, have only wanted All the land. Care to dispute this? Feel free, but be prepared to back up your assertions with facts that disprove the above. You?ll be looking a long time. It is the avowed goal of the PLO, and all of the other terrorist groups, to kill all the Jews and take the land for themselves, This goal has NEVER been changed, not in the words spoken in Arabic- you probably Don?t read Arabic, do you? or read translations of PALI documents and speeches from Memri, do you? ? not in the implementation of the Hudna ? the only reason abu mason didn?t crack down on the various groups was because he DINT Want to - its not because he didn?t have the military capability. It takes TWO to dance, and the only thing the PALIS are doing is the Hustle.
?the routinly defending of even the massacres in the 80ies?.
Ah, those massacres!
We?ve covered this before, but since you have forgotten, I will repeat. In regard to your alleged massacres of the ?80s, do you mean the massacre of Christian Lebanese at the hands of Palestinians who used the Sabra and Shatilla terror? err, refugee camps as bases from which to hide in after killing them? Hmm, it seems our European compadres have forgotten the history of what led to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, haven?t we? You IMPLY that the Israelis conducted massacres? Where? Whom? If you are referring to the Christian Phalange entry into the above mentioned camps AFTER their Christian Lebanese President was assassinated by foreigners- PALIS ? I would have been surprised if they HADNT gone in. That was NOT the Israeli massacre, was it? Or do you want to rewrite history to suit your political agenda? Feel free, just cause you call a PALI thug an angel of god doesn?t change th fact that he is still a thug. Keep telling yourself that. Sleep better. I sure wont as my friends are still killed by that angel.
Now lets talk about some other massacres, shall we?
Gotta love the massacre of Syrians by Syrians in Hama?
From the Syrian Human Rights Committee:
?Although seventeen years [written in 1999 ? that would make this 1982, right?] have elapsed since the massacre perpetrated on Hama- a town lay in the heart of Syria with population amounts to 350000 inhabitants- it is still considered the most ruthless campaign, during which the government of president Asad employed the regular army, forces especially trained and units of secret security services to crush and root out the Syrian opposition.
For 27 days starting from February 2nd 1982, the Syrian forces put Hama under a siege, shelled the town with all kinds of artillery, then Hama was ravaged by military and special forces, and its civilians were severely punished. The estimated victims range between 30000 and 40000 civilians including ladies, children and elderlies. 15000 civilians were considered lost since then and had never traced back. Thousands of civilians were obliged to desert the town, as one third of Hama had been completely destroyed. Many mosques, churches and historical buildings were left in rubbles as a consequence to the government?s artillery bombardment.
Foreign press reports said that the Syrian government had given the military forces full authority to finish the opposition and to punish all sympathisers. To avoid any popular protests or world condemnation, hushing up on Hama was imposed, all transport and communication links with the town were suspended. An embargo to the entry and parting was imposed on the town. During that period, Hama was a target to military operations on a large scale. Units of the army, special forces, defence brigades, military intelligence, general intelligence and militia of the ruling Ba?ath party took part in the operations against Hama. The campaign was led by the president?s younger brother brigadier Rifa?at Asad who was appointed two months earlier the martial ruler of the northern and middle districts of the country. An estimated number of 12000 especially trained soldiers were put under his authorities.?
So what was that number of victims again? ESTIMATED AT 30-40,000!!! At their worst, the Christian Phalange killed FAR less in the entire time of the civil war, than the Syrians did over several days. And the Israelis are PIKERS compared to this.
WHERE WERE THE EUROPEAN CONDEMNATIONS of Assad? Or is it only the Israelis that come into YOUR radar for your vituperative condemnation. SO its ok for Arabs to slaughter Arabs en masse, or blow up women and childre |
