Subject: Collective Name for Military Organizations

What would be the collective name for platoons, companies, battalions, brigades, divisions, etc.? I know that battalions are units, companies are sub-units, platoons are sub-sub-units, brigades, divisions, etc are formations... If you want to refer to them collectively what would you call them? Echelons of command? ????
