Subject: just how many insurgents have been killed in Iraq?
theBird    2/25/2007 12:14:48 AM
A couple of months ago AQ released that 4,000 forgien fighters had been killed in iraq, (since they were talking about thier own losses I think this should serve as a good basement number), and so estimating that the insurgency is about 20-10 percent forgien one would get between 20,000-40,000 total insurgents killed (when the 4,000 figure was released that is). While number of insurgents killed doesn't nesseccarily mean anything in terms of winning the war, it could help in creating reliable estimates on the total number killed in the war. (like it or not insurgents are people too, at least for these such estimates)
