Isreal, the only nuclear state in Middle East, possessing nuclear weapons in violation of NPT, asking US to take illegal Iranian nuclear facilities out or to give a green signal to him to do this job.

.. Now Jews took land without paying for it and created settlements, often taking land that the local Palestinians had title to. Naturally, this was resented but the basically peaceful Arabs could do little…

Please show your proof of these statements. It is obvious you haven’t read of why the Hashomer - or the Watch -Had to be created in the 1920s by the Jews, to protect Jews from being murdered by your so-called “peaceful” Arabs. Or do you forget the pogroms launched in those same 1920s that killed hundreds of Jewish shopkeepers, farmers, for no other reason than they were Jewish. Probably not, since it is too convenient a statement for you to include in your racist characterization of those Jewish thieves and carpetbaggers. SOUNDS A TAD RACIST TO ME - wonderful people , those tolerant Arabs.

one problem i've read about is the arabs tended to have "common" grazing areas for their flocks around their villages which belonged to the village in toto.  areas like that having no official titles etc were often taken for jewish settlements etc and caused a lot of grief.

That wasn't my point.i was talking in the name of all countries.Seriously be logical
Palestinians are humans and they did not came to this world with the idea of killing Jews. There is no need to hate them nor hate Isrealis. Both want to defend their homelands.Lets say we let Israel take over that region. What will happen to Palestinians??

I have a certain amount of sympathy for defending ones home.

The issues I have are with how they go about it. Yes I understand they are the weaker power and will not win a military struggle with Israel. That is just the facts of over half a century of wars and conflict (maybe one should take a lesson from that).

In general, when you lose a war (in their case a series of wars) you are somewhat screwed as far your ability to lay claim to things (particularly when you were on the agressors side). That being said, political pressure has been pretty constant on Israel to give the Palestinians land, rights, and all sorts of other stuff in exchange for peaceful co-existence. Which, on numerous occasions the Israeli's have been willing to do and have done and gotten nothing but more attacks in return.

Instead of peacefully accepting the "land for peace" deals and continuing  POLITICAL discussions, negotiations, and using other legal means to address their concerns... they strap bombs to themselves and walk onto busses loaded with women and children.. Sorry, that pretty much surrenders any amount of sympathy for their "situation" I might have had.

sadly Kane they are inculcated with that idea from the time they are knee high and by the time they hit their teens many of those kids are irretrievably screwed up.

What do u or most Turks think is an acceptable solution to the Palestinian issue for all parties in the region?? And how do u plan to get to that solution?? Keep it simple and relevant to what can be done today.

Sorry, that didn't come out right. I was agreement with how "tolerant" those arabs are in comparison.

You talked a lot about the murder of Jews by Arabs but we still do'nt forget the memories of an event just fifty years ago when a phonatic Christian on the name of religion assessinated half of the jewish population.
Please advise what is a "phonatic Christian". Is that a Christian who spells Christian phonetically? Or telephones Christians?

If a Christian "assessinated" (is that death by assessment? like being taxed to death?) half the Jewish population fifty years ago then there's no point to this thread. Given that an atheist, who was referred to as an anti-christ, mass-murdered the other half sixty years ago there are no Jews left for you to villify.

End of story. Happy now?

what an absurd pathetic post.... how about the fact that one country is a peace loving democracy that fights to defend itself, and the other, being Iran....that exports terrorism, has a death cult ideology, attempts a religous and cultural hegemony. Agent 47 get a clue, and know that Israel doesn't threaten other states with annihilation. They don't hang homosexuals, they don't make woman cover their whole body except the slits of their eye's. WHen regime is repressive, one is tolerant. Israel has free speech, the other one demands uniformity in citizens thoughts and actions. Israel is known to make painful if not disastrous compromise for peace, Iran declares JIHAD!!!! I think it is quite rational why one state should have the bomb and why one should not!
