InterArmaEnimSilent    1/20/2006 11:04:01 AM
With all this talk about another War in the Middle East I just would like your opinion on the strength of Middle Eastern Militaries. This will include everything. From Air Forces, modern technology, amount of reserves, armored formations, force projection, naval and aerial power, training, special forces, etc. In my view, 1 - Israel 2 - Turkey 3 - Egypt 4 - Saudi Arabia 5 - Jordan 6 - Oman 7 - Iran 8 - UAE 9 - Syria 10 - Kuwait Thoughts, Comments, Suggestions, Analysis, Welcome

Egypt? that really makes me lough.
When it comes to military power ,all Arab countries without exception should shut up and sit aside ,they had their asses kicked counless times .
The only competition to Israel in the middle east would be Turkey.

JTR~~    Oman is the underdog here   3/15/2010 3:06:55 PM
their army is frankly to put it in crude terms a beast, they are amazingly well equipped, and they have a very strong ally in the form of the good old United Kingdom (who by the way supplies and trains most of their army, in return the British army get to use Oman as a playground).
plus they have some equipment the many EU countries would like (suprisingly so, Oman is equipped much like a modern european army, much like the Austrian army or the Irish army)

Raking can be real or not real , the technologies and the advanced weporny system is just a tools but who ends Wars is the men in front thats the one that any country must take him in consider because with out him there's no country
you can be the world most advanced country in any field but with out that man every thing will be disapper so the ranking is not important we cant see who is the first and the last because there's classified projects in any country so Standar is the war
that can determine who is the first and the last
p.s(without Techniques there's no Ranking).
