This is the mood in the Fighters forums so I thought I would just declare war here instead. C'mon all you armchair generals, who wins this fight?

Just a couple of quick questions. What was your Ranger School class number? How long was it? On what DZ's did you land? Which phase has the best breakfast and what is it? How do you get free drinks in Florida? In Mountain phase what is the "Old Man"? What is written on the back of the "Ranger" tab on the drop line at VP? Who is co-located with you in the Ranger Training Compound at Benning? These answers should lay to rest the whole military service question.

Still getting on track, I had/have a back problem but my doc's pissed me about telling me I have everything from a virus to "wierd shaped bones"; I saw a chiropracter recently though and found out what it was and I'm well on the way to getting sorted. Still with the TA Howards though for a while, probably going to get a tour out of them before going back to Royal. lol about the Rangers, I'm terrified of going back to the RM after picking up the army slang, been told a few horror stories about the fun the instructors like to have with army bods; that doesn't sound right but you know what I mean lol :)

US Army units are more than enough to keep Iceland free of EU SOF. How will they get to Iceland? gix you are such an optimist it's almost painful. posting a platoon or two of sf types in iceland could very easily be done ahead of time. even then simply transferring them by fishing boat from an ssn is simple enough. as for keeping them away from the airbase good fricking luck. the list of evil things sf types can do to an airbase is rather lengthy and unless you plan to put someone watching over everything in the place 24/7 bad things will happen to very expensive and hard to replace items.

pretty silly to use rangers as your perimeter guards unless of course you don't think they are up to much more hehe.

Do you know how many Somilis died who would disagree. given the complete goatscrew that op was i wouldn't be holding it out as evidence of how uber the rangers are. lots of individual bravery sure but the planning of the op should have shamed a boy scout troop.

Planning was fine, pre-operational supervision was lacking. Rangers believed their own press releases. Lesson learned.

An Army Ranger is tougher than anything the EU has to offer, period. gixx the british have multiple battalions of ghurkas for god's sake. you cannot possibly be delusional enough to think rangers are tougher than ghurkas.
