This is the mood in the Fighters forums so I thought I would just declare war here instead. C'mon all you armchair generals, who wins this fight?

the British Lion invasion forces would be overwhelmed by the locals... because it's doubtful many could get there in the 1st place. I think that in a battle of 100 American soiders armed with M-16's vs 1,000 French locals armed with sticks. I will place my money on the Americans. A question for Mr.Gixxxerking: You have obviously already decided who would win this (absurd) war, so why start this thread? All threads like this do are cause arguments and bitterness between the people silly enough to take them seriously. This is supposed to be a serious discussion board for people interested in learning more about defence issues, not some site dedicated to macho fools comparing the sizes of their ... armies. Anyway this topic has been done to death many times previously on StrategyPage and the conclusion has always been that such a war would be (this is for both sides): 1)Unwinnable 2)Unsustainable 3)Impossible BTW I'm not getting at you personally, I know that you're normally a serious, intelligent poster, it's just threads like this annoy me. Norvicension.

I was in Europe last summer what a beautiful place. The people in general seem much more cultured than Americans no they are more cultured. However they are far more passive in nature than Americans. Americans feed on competitiveness and this attitude tends to make us a bit more aggressive. I certainly didn?t see this from the Europeans. My point is we are rugged people by nature I would goes as far to say we enjoy a good fight every once in a while. Though many euros look at this as being ignorant and war hungry as one poster put it. I love this about my people we don?t back down from . The word surrender dose not exist in our vocab nor should it. Just look at the difference between the worlds version of football and the US version now ask yourself who would you rather face in a street fight. By the way I love the people of the UK and Ukrane. UK will always be our best friend and im greatful for that.

Britain' thread ended unresolved) without a MAJOR build up in its forces (which again, would assume Europe wouldnt build up for inconceivable reason) then there really is no helping you. gixxxerking's strategy is based on suprise (which is un-realistic), and assumes that Europe has been sitting on its Duff doing nothing while America masses to attack. Well, if that happens, CONGRATULATIONS, you've just gone and conquored a continent that you'd never be able to hold... even if your ENTIRE population moves there as an acupation force, you'll still be outnumbered by a good 200 million. (oh yeah, and just out of intrest.. New York... just how attached are you too it? you know, do you reacon the locals would mind being vaporised?? If not, then YES! the plan is truely brillient.) Now you'll call me a stupid, or an "ignorant" Europian for saying this (which, btw, is offencive. I'm British, NOT a bleedin' Euro-pussy. and, for the record, also American) And that's fine. If it helps your ego to go on and on about how America can eat the world for breakfast, and have alien invaders for side dish, then who go on believing that. Just prey this war never happens... and if it does, you better sacrifice a goat to God, because when it's all over and the dust has settled, it'll just be you and him standed at the pearly gates... and he's gunna wonder why the Hell he should let you in... AND take swedes with you.. 8) We would of course hold a speach and thank you inventions and pursuits that have helped made europe so much better placy to live.. that is... er... hmm... TEA. 8) But newer the less you have been always a good prowing ground for testing leadership skills. For the Romans, for the Saxons, for the danes and last for the french. As you have noticed all your ventures outside the fog have been met by unkind doormen. 8) No you don't get to take Ibiza to west that belongs to spaniards.. 8) Well OK gin is OK too and your beer isn't bad.

Come on now someone would die if our 250 to 360 pounds ball players met your boys in a Rugby match. Thats why they wear pads. a 250lbs man that can run a 4.4 40 yard dash thats a f--ing train reck even in europe. FS must be loving this now you UK boys are on his side lol He has finally converted you. Don?t get it mistaken I respect the people from the UK I train with a fighter named lee Murry he is one of the toughest people I have ever met and he from the UK. Furthermore I have trained with several Russian fighters in Sambo and they are down right scary at times. In general though from my time in europe which was only 6 weeks and 8 nations visited I can honesty say Americans are more aggressive by nature.
