| (1) I completly agree with SGTObvious.
(2) I think that the Dutch army is a few better than Belgian army. The quality of the troops is similar. But, Dutch army has a very few more manpower. It also has more elite units: 1 marine brigade and 1 air assault brigade (belgian has only para-commando brigade). Dutch army has helicopters Apache (and Belgium: Agusta), CH-47 (no one for Belgium), Patriot missiles (no one for Belgium), more F-16, a far more powerful navy (perhaps Dutch navy is something like the 5th in Europe), better assault rifles (Canadian C-7 for Dutch, FNC for belgian), more tanks, better tanks (Leopard 2 for Dutch Army, Leopard 1 for belgian Army), etc...
But, Dutch army is in a very similar situation than Belgian army, regarding to the good explanation of SGTObvious.
