oil needs to be refined and distributed. If militias take control, it won't happen. If its in Okla we will really need military , I hate to see the Bible belt in control here. Its not just an isolated assassination, but coupled with sudden collapse of dollar and social services. Some of the senior citizens here told me at least in GD1 they could grow potatoes in backyard some family support, etc etc. They told me if it happens again it will be crazy as there will be no food to eat very quickly. ANd oh yes gunboat diplomacy for money has been used(by number of countries of course) but primarily driven by politicos not military leaders. It would be interesting to see how the military would behave if say Swine flu, depression, devaluation, and social unrest + an assassination, and a pay cut happenes at the same time- the perfect storm.

If militias are in control of America, that means the entire US active military and National Guard has been somehow completely neutralized. If we ever get to that point is is literally going to be like that show Jericho and every city will be on their own. What you suggest is literally one knotch above what will we do when the Marshians invade.!! It's like you sat down and passed out papers to 100 people and said ok.. tell me everything you think could go wrong in America to casue a government collaspe and then took them all and compiled them together and now this is what is heading our way. Pure nonsense of the umphhhh degree.

And if it was that bad, I'd prefer the *Bible belt* be in control as opposed to some other. Let me guess, you would prefer some Islamic group be in control? BTW, the *Perfect Storm* was a movie. As in fiction.

You again show your total lack of understanding of American society in general. Arab nations would no doubt react the way you suggest. However, the US military will not be taking over the nation because things get tuff and they got a pay cut. They would by-n-large follow orders and do their job and assist their nation where their own family lives to recover and get back to a good life. Not act like a bunch of thugs and compound the problem!! This is where they live, their friends and family live, everyone they know. They will not help ruin it Mr Naturalized citizen. Some things they just can't instill in or teach you when they say whatever it is they say to you that somehow makes you think your an American.

Beazz is correct in assessment of SPR. Also that place in OK is Cushing, OK. Not sure if SPR is fully stocked at the moment though and remember it is only crude oil. It still has to be refined into gasoline and distributed.

While I don't believe in the dooms day predictions, Le Zookeeper has a point on social order. We all watched New Orleans decend into chaos after only a couple of days without food and electricity. If something on a larger scale happened..... I shudder to think.

SPR has I am pretty sure a 1 billion barrel capacity so its not full. Zooman is most likely a Muslem anti-American is all and he just keeps suggesting what he actually hopes will happen.

I am not Moslem or anti-American by any means, I evenunfortunately voted once for Bush jr. I suggest you pursue other avenues of venting ur frustration. After Katrina social disorder was quick and rampant. SO thats a clear example of the status of self control we have as a nation, not to speak of this greed spending binge on live TV worldwide. I needn't be labelled anti- anything , since Iraq 2003 American behaviour is apparent on TV worldwide and its not good. Petty patriotism and jingoism aside. And its not me, its even the respected "deep entrenched Americans of several generations down" say the same things. But then I have hope that the people will change under good leadership like Obama.

Yes I got my Greencard and then citizenship after sholastic acheivements and obviously good citizenship- though financial success is making my good citizenship flounder a bit, its always party time now.
