Subject: RE:AK-103 v M4A1

"As for lethality, 7.62x39mm is pretty notorious for underperformance once it hits flesh. Any number of ballistics studies bear this out, many of which can probably be found online" This is certainly true, but there are few reasons why 7.62mm has some better aspects. It behaves much better in dense forests where the bullets often hit something (branches etc). But with direct hits 5.56mm is far more lethal, and its not questionable. "no offense but there is no ak types weapons ever made to top any m16 a2 or m4" It really really depends on the purpose.. Check Finnish AK variants and put them into use in place like ours like Finns do and then think again. I would never ever take M16A2 unless being able to have its accessories too. Though M4 is probably the best carbine (with accessories) in world. "and after there is noweapon to top the m16a2 and m4 and m4" And why M8 isnt based on M16s series...? To put it short: if you have the money to buy all the stuff, M4A1 wins hands down, but if you´re not having an infinite supply, think about AK series. Cheers.
